Float Like a Butterfly - Sting Like a Bee! (April 2010)

Kidron LOVES to box. It all started when we let him play boxing on the Wii. Now it is one of his favorite things to do with Daddy.

Just the Thing for the Party! (April 2010)

Chloe and Kidron were playing and they were organizing a party. Well, Chloe had to get dressed, of course, to go to the party. So, while Kidron waited for her she selected from her dress up box and came out wearing this ensemble. Right after I took the picture she walked over to Kidron and said, "Is this 'just the thing' for the party?...tell me that this is 'just the thing for the party". Needless to say he complied and they had the party. It is AMAZING to me the characteristics that our Creator gave to male and female that just ooze out from birth.

A New Look! (April 2010)

Chloe was given this 'outfit' from a good friend (another Chloe) and she instantly LOVED it! Of course she had to accessorize. (I think the pink stuff is supposed to go under the skirt, but she insisted that this was the way that it goes!)

Kidron and Emily

One of the kids favorite things to do is feed 'the kids'. At night we pen the babies up seperate from their momma (Frosty). Then, each morning I go out and milk Frosty and my 'kids' feed her 'kids'. They are soooo cute and soooo much fun. We love our goats!

Chloe and Emily

Chloe loves these little ones. Emily will ALWAYS take a bottle...she is more like a pig than a goat.

Cooper Construction Worker

Cooper has LOVED having all of the construction work going on. He is up and outside ready to lend a hand when the crew gets here at 7 am! We all are learning A LOT through this process. Subfloor number one almost done!

This Brauts for You! 4/11/2010

Uncle Tim, we grilled this day and Mommy and I ate a braut - just for you! Oh, it had cheese inside too. Love Kidron!

I am the vine 4/11/10

As I have been watering these 6 grapevines I can't help but think of the scripture "I am the vine you are the branches..." John 15:5. It brings that whole section of scripture to life for me. How our Heavenly Father is the vinedresser....I look at these vines and they all look so dead and brittle like they could never yeild any fruit. Yet, you can tell some have more life than others. That is just like we are. To God we must look so dead sometimes, yet, he continues to water, prune and care for us - never giving up! In order for these vines to thrive I must never give up on them, even if they appear to be dead. Even if they bear no fruit this year, they could next year. Just like us! It may take a long time for us to be alive in Him to the point of bearing fruit for His glory...but God is always right their to tend to us...water, pruning, care...Thank you God! (Rhonda)

SweetTea with a Sweet Friend 4/7/10

There's just nothin' like sweet tea with a sweet friend...you know who you are! (Reading Mary Jane).... Oh, by the way, this only lasted about 5 minutes. Cooper took the picture of me and then the little ones needed pushed on the swing. So, me, the tea and my friend went to the swing set.

Stem Wall 4/5/10

Hen Haven 4/5/10

As the chicks grew the boys needed to expand their space and give them run of the whole room. By the way, we also bought 25 broiler chickens (meat chickens) to raise and butcher. Should be a good time. Anyway, the boys are taking care of those chicks as well. 50 baby chicks, wow. Oh, and one 'princess chicken' for Chloe.

Grapevines 4/1/10

Casey was checking out one of his job sites and there were all these mature grape vines. He called the developer and asked if we could have them and he said, yes. They even used their equipment to dig them up and put them on Casey's trailer. Getting them home was quite a job - for Casey. I hope they survive!
